Q. Can I order more than one of each entree?
A. Yes, you can order up to two of the same entrees during each session. Certain items may be restricted to one entree per session, and will be noted on the menu.

Q. Can I really make 12 meals in 2 hours?

A. Yes you can! We’ve done all the menu planning, chopping, slicing, grating, and other time consuming steps, so all you have to do is assemble each of your dishes according to your family’s tastes.

Q. What do I need to bring to a session?
A. You’ll need to bring a cooler, laundry basket or an insulated bag to carry home your entrees. We’ll provide all the storage containers you’ll need. If you have long hair, please have it tied back.

Q. My kids hate onions. Can I adjust the recipes?
A. Absolutely. Everything can be customized to your family’s taste. Start with our recipes and tailor them to your liking. Our staff is always available to assist you and give suggestions.

Q. Six servings is a lot for my small family. Can I split each dish?
A. For most, yes. We will provide additional bags and foil as needed. For best results, we don’t recommend splitting casserole-type dishes or crock pot items.

Q. How can I possibly fit all this food in my freezer?
A. Before you come to Savory Suppers, take a few minutes to organize your freezer. Your dinners will be stored in freezer friendly containers like Ziploc bags and foil packets. You’ll be surprised how much you can fit on one shelf in your freezer. Also, you can place several entrees in the refrigerator right away to use that week.

Q. Can I bring someone to help?
A. Health department regulations don’t allow young children to attend sessions. Older kids, ages 12 and up, are welcome to come and help. If you plan to bring a friend or older child, please let us know.

Q. My family has food allergies, can I still come to Savory Suppers?
A. Please inform us of any allergies at registration time. We know how serious food allergies can be. All ingredient labels are available for you to review in the store before or during your session. We will assist you with substitutions or changes to recipes as needed. Please be aware that common food allergens such as milk and nuts are used in some of our recipes and will be present during most sessions.

Q. I need to reschedule, what do I do?
A. Life happens, we understand. Food and the flu don’t mix, if you’re not feeling well, we encourage you to call and reschedule.  If possible, please try to reschedule at least 24 hours before your session, so that we can adjust our prep lists.

Q. How do you practice food safety?
A. All of our staff has been trained in food safety. We follow our Health Department's recommendations for food safety and practice all ServeSafe recommendations. Each station will be used for only one food type and all items are thoroughly sanitized after each session. Hand washing is required before the session, after coughing or sneezing, after using the restroom, and between stations. All safety issues will be reviewed at the beginning of each session. Your safety and the safety of your family are very important to us.
